The golden eagle has landed; Muonagolu Ugochukwu emerged the winner in the concluded election.

After the long threatening campaign that was loaded with stress, hardship and betrays, Muonagolu Ugochukwu, 19, emerged the winner of the office of the public relations officer of the fastest growing university in sub-sahara, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
According to our correspondent who followed and monitored the whole process of the election came up with this report. The forms for the election was released on monday 23rd of november 2009 around 4.30pm; the submission of the forms came up on tuesday and the security screening of all the flagbearers came up on wednesday and thursday that same week,then the result of qualified candidate was released in later hours of friday. Two other names were released along side with ugoo's name, then there were over ten people vying for the office of the president, five for vice president, three each for secretary, financial secretary and P.R.O While director of socials were four persons, other positions were unopposed. Campaign started immediately after the screening result was released in accordance with the constitution. The campaign lasted for three days,then on monday 30th nov. 2009, election was conducted. The result of the election was counted in all polling unit were all agents were present. Omenugha nelson won the post of president, chioma obiakor the vice president, Muonagolu Ugochukwu the P.R.O, celestine uzoma the financial secretary, onyedika israel the secretary and others. Muonagolu passed the second with over one hundred votes, and the third with over two hundred votes. The swelling-in-ceremony was a success and it came up on thursday 3rd december 2009.
